To her delight, Tracy Perry was appointed as Pastor of Spirit of Joy United Methodist Church in Coolidge, Arizona, on July 1, 2016.
Tracy is married to Russ Perry. They have two adult sons, Matt (MaryAnn) and Jordan (Anderea) and four beautiful granddaughters, LilyKate, Violet, Layla, and Lexi.
Tracy has been a part of the United Methodist Church since 1972. Most of that time was spent at Albright United Methodist Church in Central Phoenix. Tracy served Albright in many ways over the years as a lay person. She was appointed as pastor of Albright by the Desert Southwest Conference in 1996 and served in that capacity until 2012. During that time, Tracy completed the Course of Study for Local Pastors at Claremont School of Theology in Claremont, California.
From 2012 until its closing in 2015, Tracy served as Chaplain for Arizona Grand Retirement Facility and was appointed to Sun Lakes United Methodist Church as Associate Pastor in July 2013.
Tracy has served on the Central East District Leadership Team as Conference Registrar for the Local Pastors of the Desert Southwest Conference, and on the Conference Board of Ordained Ministry as the Local Pastor Representative.
